Last week when Mariah Carey showed up to a CD signing two hours late, and didn’t sign all the CDs as promised, she didn’t just piss off the fans, she angered the paparazzi gods. Why? She wore sunglasses on the red carpet, which is like telling the paparazzi to eff off. The paparazzi agencies are litterallly so mad they CLAIM they won’t take anymore pictures of her.
The real issue is that Mariah’s pictures aren’t selling very well, and for very little money. It’s not like they’d do this to Britney. What this really means is the paparazzi will just wait until they’ve got some good pictures of Mariah doing something everyone wants to see, then suddenly the boycott will be over.
Boring Mariah = Boycott Mariah
Mariah’s response will be predictable. She’ll just tell them to kiss it.
Mariah is one of the biggest selling recording artists in history, so she can definitely outlast the paparazzi boycott, which will hurt them more than it will hurt her.
