Breaking reports from Access Hollywood claim that Mimi is ready for another go at marriage - getting engaged to her beau, Nick Cannon.

A source close to Carey has confirmed to the entertainment news agency that the music diva is indeed engaged to the actor/rapper, but reps for both singers were unavailable for comment.

Carey was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998, while Cannon was engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007, but never made it to the altar.

"musical force to be reckoned with"???....seriously!?! umm,mariah i understand. but nick cannon and musical force do not belong in the same sentence. and the rumor is now that they are married..can we all say "RANDOM!"...Oh the things people do for publicity...scared that madonna's gonna still ur thunder? here's a suggestion, marry nick cannon after dating for 2 days! desperate times call for desperate measures

i can't believe nick and mariah are married, they kept their relationship on the low very good when i saw it i was so suprised they make a wonderful couple to me, nick treat the QUEEN right. hopefully they have some beautiful kids...
