Perez reports that the ginormous rock Mariah is sporting might be the ring that Nick Cannon used to propose to his last fiance.
There are a lot of possible explanations for this, especially since neither camp confirmed the engagement. Maybe Mariah bought the ring or one very similar to it from Nick or someone for herself. Maybe someone else bought it for her. Maybe Nick had a yard sale and Mariah said, "Shiny bauble! Gimme!"
A source close to Nick's OG fiance confirmed to Perez that it is the same ring, but I don't know. Those gaudy rocks all start to look the same after awhile.
