A Publicity Stunt! = Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Marriage!

The New York Post said on Thursday the pair wed in a secret ceremony in front of family and friends at Carey's house in Eleuthera, citing a source closed to Carey. Cannon reportedly gave his new bride, the same ring previously engaged to fiance, another woman. Cannon is no amateur in giving rings to women, The actor, who has previously romanced singer Christina Milian and voluptuous reality star Kim Kardashian, last year gave a 15-carat stone to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks as he proposed in grand fashion — on the Jumbotron in New York's Times Square. Cameras were flashing as she said yes. They split just a few months later.

Mariah recently released the No. 1 single "Touch My Body" off her album "E=MC2," which also debuted on record charts as the best-selling album in mid-April. She has enjoyed tremendous success as a recording artist starting in 1990 with her self-titled debut album.

Cannon has acted in films such as 2002's "Drumline" and "Shall We Dance?" and he made his singing debut with a self-titled album in 2003 and followed up in 2006 with "Stages."

The pair met when Cannon directed a video for her recent single, "Bye, Bye," and have been dating for several weeks, according to reports.

Carey was married previously to record executive Tommy Mottola, but they divorced in 1998. It is Cannon's first marriage. Carey and Cannon's whirlwind romance and quick marriage is a publicity stunt for their career.

The Magazine HOLLYWOOD GOSSIP reported Mariah has a profile on a celebrity and millionaire dating site "MillMatch......com".
I believe it's totally a rumor since she has been busy with her wedding. But who knows the truth?

I guess we will know the truth soon, it seems too staged. I don't think they did it. Because above they showed all seperate pitures and the kiss was for winning a award, not for love. Fake! To me it's just Hollywood Gossip.

I hope this wasn't what she wore for her wedding ceremony, it looks like what should be under the dress for the husband's eyes only. I still say it's a publicity stunt. It will be over shortly.
