As mentioned before, Disney has grounded Miley Cyrus for all of the recent controversy over her racy photos. They've recently decided against Miley appearing at the “Disney Channel Games” on Friday's red carpet.

In addition to the fuss about the Vanity Fair photos, Miley is also reportedly being criticized for telling the magazine that Sex and the City is her “favorite show” and for making comparisons between Sex and the City and Hannah Montana. Miley told Vanity Fair:
“If you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters – that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”

However, sources close to Cyrus say this criticism is unfair because:
“The show she watches is completely sanitized. She watches it on TBS [where is is edited for network TV]. [Miley’s mum] Tish doesn’t allow HBO in the house. They only have basic cable.”

Even though the TV version of Sex in the City is deemed "sanitized" from the HBO version, it still is inappropriate for a 15-year-old. Miley seems so eager to grow up quickly.

  • Sex And The City is definitely NOT an appropriate show for tweens aged 13-17. Stop trying so hard to grow up so quickly, you have the rest of your life to deal with grown up situations and get discouraging obstacles thrown in your face. Watching a show with the word "SEX" in it clearly just shows that you are a horny little slutbag.

  • Umm, what the hell?
Im fifteen and I watch that show.
    My mom approves of it.
And believe me, if my mom approves, its friendly enough.
AND ITS NOT LIKE YOU SEE THEM HAVING SEX!
In all the time i've watched that show, I have never seen one whole boob.
And how old you are doesn't mean your immature.
A lot of you people that are 20,30, even 40 are more immature then some 14,15, and 16 years old people I've met.
God, and another thing, if your old enough to make decisions for yourself, like quit school(dumb one, but still), or live with your grandmother instead of your parents.
Then, your old enough to watch Sex and the City.
And that would be 15 or 16 here.
