will no longer work on the theme song
to the next James Bond movie because she
is not ready to work,
her producer said as quoted by CHINA NEWS May 4th.ã
The Grammy-winning neo-soul singer
has been recording with producer Mark Ronson
in his studios in Henley, Oxforshire, but she abandoned
the work following a furious bust-up with Ronson. ã
The pair fell out amid Amy saying the song was
"rubbish" and Mark canceling the sessions,
claiming she was not fit to record music.
Ronson, who produced much of Winehouse's
Grammy-winning "Back to Black," has been friends
with Winehouse for years.
Mark told The Sun:
"We did work on it but we never finished it.
I don't think it will happen unless by some miracle
it gets recorded and someone sings on it.
"I'm not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet."
The new Bond film which will mark Daniel Craig's
second outing as the secret agent is due to be
released in October.
Winehouse's troubles with drugs,
law enforcement and her rocky romance
with her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil
have kept the singer in the spotlight.
The 24-year-old was given a formal warning
by police last week after she scuffled with
two men during a raucous night out.
