Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf wanted to leave his successful acting career to become a rap star, but he gave up when he realized it “wasn’t his forte”.The 21-year-old is a big fan of hip-hop music and its culture, and he was convinced he would be able to copy his idols with the launch of his own rap career. But the Hollywood actor soon discovered he wasn’t as good a lyricist as he’d first thought. He says, “Like every other Jewish guy, I went through a stage of wanting to be black. A few years ago I convinced myself I was a gangsta rapper and I started writing songs.” But I realized it wasn’t my forte.”
