Taylor Swift Star Struck Over Meeting John Mayer

Taylor Swift may be a country superstar in the making, but that doesn't mean the 18-year-old can't get star struck. Swift quickly admits she was totally star struck when she met musician John Mayer, who is one of her heroes.

According to People.com, Swift met Mayer at the Metropolitan Costume Instute Gala earlier this week. The young singer said Mayer came up to her and introduced himself and, like a typical teenager, she said, "I was like freaking out!"
