Pictures: Celebrities Mourn Loss of Tarka Cordell

See More... Late last month (April 28th) Tarka Cordell, the musician son of late legendary music producer Denny Cordell, was found dead, having hanged himself in his Notting Hill home.

And earlier today, family and friends remembered him in a funeral service at Mortlake Crematorium in South London.

Stars like Kate Moss, Lily Allen, Sophie Dahl, and Sienna Miller all showed up to pay their respects to the eccentric Englishman. Dahl and Moss, as well as actress Liv Tyler were all rumored at one time to have dated Cordell.

Tarka’s brother Barney was the first to confirm his suicide, telling press, “I’m afraid Tarka has taken his own life. We are all tremendously sad. He had just come back from India. Nothing has been settled for the funeral.”

Tarka and Barney were little when they would lay on my chest on the lounge chairs on Denny's deck at the Malibu house. They grew up as my children did with Shelter Records memories. I mourn his passing, love the memories, and smile when I see him in my heart. Almighty God is in the living man.
