This is Accelerator's second year, and despite stellar lineups, the festival has remained mostly under the radar ... at least when compared to other big-name European events like Reading and Glastonbury. But it's likely to raise its profile this year by including VW and fellow hype machines Duffy and Black Kids — who are riding a wave of success ever since signing with Columbia Records.
Accelerator will find Vampire Weekend in the middle of a massive tour, which has them traversing both Europe and the U.S. for most of the summer.
