Canadian model Jayde Nicole has been chose by Hugh Hefner and Playboy magazine as the 2008 Playmate of the Year.

A 22-year-old Ontario native, Nicole is Canada’s first Playmate of the Year since Shannon Tweed was honored with the tle in 1982.

According to Playboy:

"She will appear in a 10-page nude pictorial in Playboy’s June issue, which becomes available at newsstands today. Along with her tle, Jayde received $100,000 in prize money and a 2008 Cadillac CTS."
