Jay-Z has responded to Oasis front man Noel Gallagher's comments in regards to Jay-Z headlining this June's Glastonbury Festival.

"Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music... I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong" commented Gallagher.

In an exclusive interview with Bizzare, Jay-Z responded with the following.

"We don’t play guitars, Noel, but hip-hop has put in its work like any other form of music...We have to respect each other’s genre of music and move forward."

Jay-Z went on to say that he's never had a concert cause this much controversy and he's looking forward to the show.

"The world has to change. It just can’t be one thing — and that’s the beautiful thing...The artists of yesterday paved the way for the artists of tomorrow and that’s just how music is. For us rappers to arrive at this point has taken years.”
