Holly Valance…Bitter Much?

Holly Valance, who has appeared on Moonlight once and is Alex O’Loughlin’s real life girlfriend, has posted a blog on MySpace. I think it’s kinda rude and uncalled for…here it is….

I gotta say people, if everyone put as much time into helping the world as much as saving Moonlight, the world would be a better place.
There has been 2 horrific natural disasters in the past 10 days and we should be focussing on those poor people.
I’m not posting anything about a TV show being cancelled while this tragedy is unfolding.
Get some perspective people.

Seriously Holly, I would love to help those people that the disasters happened too, but I don’t know how. May be you should tell us. But, Moonlight, meant a lot to me. And I want to try to save it…

I also found the Holly Valance comment rude. I have been following the news daily regarding these disaters and have donated money to the organizations that are collecting and have also prayed for those who are affected. I work in public service and spend my days helping people of my community. I lost both parents to cancer and organize Relay for Life and I support St Judes Childrens Hospital. I look forward to watching Moonlight and if I want to add more to my plate and try to save the show that's my choice.

YIKES...I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I'd like to picture someone as fantastic as Alex (who seems so sincere, smart & unassuming in all his interviews) with a girlfriend along the same lines. I'm afaraid Holly's comment comes across as kinda b----y at worst & just plain insensitive at best. Good luck, Alex. I'll be watching for movies like Whitewater and hopefully season 2 of the amazing MOONLIGHT. A Huge Fan.

Opps...make that "Whiteout" (not "Whitewater") for Alex's upcoming movie to look for. He also has old movies like "The Oyster Farmer" & "The Invisible" available on Amazon.com not to mention breathlessly awaiting the release of the boxed DVD set of MOONLIGHT. Anyone know when that release date is? I still miss MOONLIGHT & still hold out hope it will be back for a 2nd season! Meantime, have some well deserved fun & relaxation in Mexico with Holly!!

I think the best you can preach people is with an example. And I don´t see Holly doing much for the people in need while vacationing in Mexico for 2 weeks.

The bottom line is i care for Alex, i think any negative comments about his girlfriend
will hurt him and i don't want to do that. I love Moonlight, i love his acting in it, and i hope we another network picks it up. I wish them both the best he loves her and that all that counts!

B**CH, APPARENTLY SHE FOUND TIME TO COMPLAIN AND SHOW HER JEALOUSLY THOUGH, MAYBE IF SHE PUT THAT ENERGY INTO HELPING THE VICTIMS SHE COULD REMOVE THE BARBED WIRE STICK FROM HER BUTT. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT AND HOW JUCH TIME AND ENERGY MISS CRABBY HAS DONATED TO THE DISASTERS, I KNOW WHAT I HAVE DONE IN MY CHARITIES AND THE POINT WAS/IS WE LOVED MOONLIGHT, PROBABLY FOR THE SAME REASONS ALEX WANTED THE PART, BECAUSE OF THE FASCINATION WITH VAMPIRES AND THE ALLURE OF ITS FANTASY OF IT. MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO ALEX TO FIND A GIRLFRIEND WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HIM AND ONE MORE MATURE.
