I know I'm not the first person to make the "no mo" joke. But it makes me giggle, alright?
TMZ is saying that Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo have split up, just shy of their six-month anniversary.
Jezebel has some really fantastic quotes from the Glamour article about Jessica Simpson, which was written, obviously, when she and Romo were still making out over birthday cake. My favorite: "He reintroduced me to myself. I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date. [I thought] I had to be more intellectual. Come on—just be yourself! Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again."
I thought I had to be more intellectual and like, be able to add and subtract and contemplate my existence and stuff. But then Tony told me, "Heck naw, sugar. You just sit there and look pretty and I'll do all the hard thinking. I am a football player, after all, and we're known for our brains." He's so dreamy! Also, he got me this shirt. It says, "Who needs brains when you have these?" I'm not sure what it means but he said something about melons and told me not to worry about it. I love him. It's so hard to find a man who shares my love for cantaloupe.
Ahem. Anyway...E! says that Simpson's reps are pshawing the rumors, so we shall see...
