Ryan Philippe and Abbie Cornish: Totes Going Steady

See More... Ryan Philippe attended the 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards over the weekend with his Stop-Loss co-star and girlfriend Abbie Cornish. It was their first major event as a couple and since Ryan's icky divorce from Reese Witherspoon amidst rumors that he and Abbie were doing the dirty-dirty on the Stop-Loss set.

People reports that the Ryan had his arm around Abbie and "rubbed her back while she leaned against his shoulder." The couple held hands throughout the evening and later shared a chocolate malt at the diner before going to Lovers' Lane to park. If all goes well, Ryan is expected to give Abbie his letter jacket and maybe even his pin. With any luck, we'll have another shotgun wedding before the summer is out. Fingers crossed!
