CFDA Awards: who won, who was there...

... and who shouldn't have been! Honestly, 'Lil Kim? Sean Avery? The 'hockey player' who is now interning at Vogue? Was TomKat not even available? 'Lil Kim does not deserve to be in the same room as Dries Van Noten. Period.

Did it not say on the invitation that it is a FASHION awards ceremony? She looks a little 'under-dressed', if you ask me.

And big news, Sean Avery is now leveraging his Vogue internship to become a celebrity stylist. Rachel Zoe better watch her back.

I hope my sarcasm is coming through.

Two celebs that did not create questionable red carpet appearances were none other than my A. Olsen and Maggie G. Ashley came out to support Francisco Costa, who won the womenswear award for Calvin Klein, and Maggie came out for the Proenza boys.

I am LOVING Ashley's nod to the 'le smoking' here (how fitting it was on the day that YSL passed). Just a heads up: those 'genie' pants have been popping up all over the resort '09 runway, so expect them to catch on and stick around.

Now, lets play a game. It's called the 'which-designer-looks-most-comfortable' game, which obviously goes to Tom Ford. Tom Ford I'm sure does for gays what Samantha does to heteros. Tom Ford does that to me even. You can tell he feels quite comfortable next to another sex symbol.

Marcy Marc, on the other hand, does not look so comfortable next to his date, whom he must have felt obliged to bring since she starred in his spring campaign. Are we still believing that VB wasn't just the target of a really cruel editorial joke?
