Actress Whoopi Goldberg wore a gown designed for her by Project Runway Season 4 winner, Chrisian Siriano to host the 62nd Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 15, 2008 in New York City. Whoopi has proclaimed publicly that she doesn't really like wearing dresses, but I think this dress design suits her and the occasion. I think Christian did good.

The dress was lovely, but wrong for Whoppi's body type, unfortunately. I definitely would have covered her knees, de-emphasized her waist and given a bit more shoulder and cleavage play, with the approciate jewelry/accessories. Her personal style is is one of comfort, but also sloppy at times and speaks as someone who does not really like herself that much.
