Jason Bateman (”star” of Teen Wolf Too, circa 1987) and more recently of Arrested Development fame has inked a deal with 20th Century Fox TV to develop TV series, as well as produce and direct projects.
With a recent career resurgence from such movies as “Juno” and the upcoming “Hancock” with Will Smith, Twentieth tapped Bateman to direct the pilot for “Do Not Disturb” which has scored a spot on the networks Fall Schedule. In addition, Jason is providing one of the lead voices for Fox’s “Sit Down, Shut Up”.
He became the DGA’s youngest-ever director when he directed 3 episodes of “Valerie” (aka. The Hogan Family) at the age of 18. Since that time he has emulated the very successful career path of his former boss (on AD), Ron Howard with stints in acting, directing, and producing.
