Heather Locklear Battling Anxiety and Depression

"Heather [Locklear] has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment," her rep, Cece Yorke, tells "The Insider." "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."

People magazine -- on stands Friday -- reports the actress is in treatment for psychological issues at an Arizona facility.

i'm glad she's taking her recovery seriously and not letting the media in on it. she needs the time and privacy to get better

As a mom who has dealt with both depression and severe anxiety, my heart goes out to Ms. Locklear. But There are VERY effective treatments and it is not a life sentence. It's actually completely curable!

- Isn't aniexty & depressions the worst? I have suffered from it for many years, especially the aniexty piece, and I'm having a down time right now -- any advice?
