Khloe Kardashian Out of the Slammer!

That was fast! Mere hours after checking into a Los Angeles jail, Khloe Kardashian has been released. She was booked at 8:52 a.m. PT this morning and was declared free to go at 1:29 p.m.The reality TV star served time for violating her DUI probation.

"Khloe was prepared to serve her entire 30 -day sentence, if that was what the Sheriff's Department ordered," Khloe's rep told "The Insider." "However, due to jail over-crowding, she was released after a few hours. She was treated no differently than anyone else serving a similar sentence. Of course, she is happy to be out and she thanks the Sheriff's Department for its professionalism. She now looks forwarding to successfully completing the terms of her probation."

  • I think there's too much emphasis put on stars and DUI's. With all the hype and media attention it seems to me we are sending a message that it's okay. Look how much attention a star gets for drinking and driving - more then once even. She'll get star treatment -good thing they have the reality show now!! Otherwise she probably wouldn't.

  • i am so sick of seeing these celebeities getting released hours after turning themselves in due to "over crowding" in the jail. they should serve the amount of time that they were given.!!

  • I agree, there really is no reason these people should get any special treatment.... They certainly do not treat the "average Joe/Josephine" the way they do these "celebrities". They really should get a taste of what it is REALLY like when they put you in county jail. Then she would have something to complain about.

    • Agreed. This isn't fair to those that especially serve time for crimes they didn't commit. The little broad should've done the full time..."over-crowding?" Don't feed us this bull, this chick is running the same path as her sister...except it won't be glitz after the sex tape.

  • you've got to be kidding me, when it's someone who doesn't contribute to society at all they basically get a jail free card but when it's someone in the working class they have to fulfil their sentence, and if impoverished, they mine as well just go to jail ahead of time. On top of that she's not even a celebrity, just some fat girl whose sister was one of those Cheetah Girls.
