When Wino Attacks
Amy Winehouse is under investigation by UK police for allegedly headbutting some dude on a London street early Wednesday morning. According to The Sun, the man claimed he tried to hail a taxi for Amy outside a pub, and she suddenly attacked him.
“Police are investigating an alleged assault on Chalk Farm Road at approximately 3:20 am on April 23,” says a Metropolitan Police spokesman. “A 38-year-old man [contacted] Kentish Town police station and alleged a 24-year-old woman had assaulted him. No arrests have been made as yet but inquiries continue.”
On the same night, Amy allegedly made out with another dude at a bar shortly before the headbutting incident. She also hit another dude who got in her way at the pub, before she engaged in random acts of assy-ness.
Onlookers told how the married singer also snogged a mystery fella at a nightspot and shocked punters by overturning tables and drinks. She was later seen smoking drugs in the street, walked into a lamppost, and riled a cabbie by paying only half her promised fare home.
Once inside, she is said to have hit Moroccan musician Mustapha el Mounmi after he refused to give way to her at the pool table. Mustapha, 27, had a bruised eye and swollen lip.
He said: “I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard. I could not hit back, she’s a woman.”
An onlooker said: “She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables. Amy screamed, ‘I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs.’”
The frail-looking star went on to snog her mystery pal before leaving at 2.45am.
A source said: “He said she was a snarling tigress. It’s said she caused a serious amount of damage.”
I wish I had a dollar for every time I walked around my neighborhood bar saying, “I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs.”
