Two big stories this week: Paula Abdul had her very awkward moment on Tuesday night and Miley Cyrus is a normal teenager not a saint. Now, I bet everyone and their mother is more interested in these developments than the presidential race. Ok, Paula made a fool out of herself so she screwed up, don’t we all?  Ryan Seacrest addressed last night’s controversy in a brief, vague statement, focusing on unspecified ”rumors.” ”It sparked a lot of gossip about Paula,” the Idol host said, ”and I read some of this online this morning. And just for the record, the rumors, they’re not true. She’s part of our family and we love her.

  • I'm glad that Ryan said something to try to help Paula out. It's major BS that Paula takes all the heat if anything goes wrong on AI and Randy, Ryan and Simon are all left alone. It would be nice if the guys said enough is enough when the tabloids trash Paula like they do and stick up for her more. If they are her so called "friends" they wouldn't hesitate for a second to jump to her defense.

  • I feel so bad for her. :o( I definitely understand what she goes through dealing with pain, her illness and my mom's are very similar. I give her so much credit for staying to positive and being able to go out an do show after show, not complaining or anything. She really is a trooper. Not only is she beautiful and talented, but she has amazing strength as well. I'd like to see how Simon, Randy or Ryan would deal with the same illness she has.
