Tom Hanks Endorses Barack Obama

 

 

Tom Hanks has joined the likes of Oprah Winfrey in making a public endorsement for president.

The Oscar-winning actor posted a brief monologue on his MySpace page backing Barack Obama.

"I'm Tom Hanks and I want Barack Obama to be the next president of our country. As an official celebrity, I know my endorsement has just made your mind up for you", he says.

Hanks says the country needs a "seismic shift" and Obama has "the integrity and the inspiration to unify us."

  • If Barack doesn't make it, Tom should be president. We know him more and if Arnold Sw. can be the head of something, why not Tom. We love you Tom and thanks for your entertainment for all these decades.

  • I wonder how much he got paid for that message? Anyway people always want something that they know they can't have. I want Tom Hanks for President, but it won't happen. Only thing that does matter, is how this election will really end.
