Joely Richardson wants to adopt.
The 'Nip/Tuck' actress - who has a 16-year-old daughter Daisy with film producer ex-husband Tim Bevan - was inspired to consider extending her family after a charity trip to Malawi, Africa.
She said: "I'd love to adopt. I was almost in tears on a hospital visit because there were two or three babies to each cot, but I told myself that crying wouldn't help."
However, Joely isn't sure whether she wants to adopt a baby from Africa, like Madonna and Angelina Jolie.
She added: "It's hard to decide whether to take a child out of its natural environment."
Joely also said she has no intention of moving to Los Angeles, where 'Nip/Tuck' is filmed, because she would miss the UK too much.
She added to Closer magazine: "The UK is still my full-time home. I miss my friends and my family when I'm away and I miss the countryside. I'm not good at Los Angeles life and everything looking perfect, but I like aspects of it." source
