Lindsay Drops Out
Amid rumors that she was dropped from “The Manson Girls” because no one wanted to work with her, Lindsay Lohan’s rep issued a statement claiming Lindsay left the project on her own.
Lohan’s spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane, said the 21-year-old actress was “definitely interested” in “The Manson Girls,” but she denied online gossip reports that Lohan was dropped from that film because other actors refused to work with her.
“Unfortunately (the Manson movie) didn’t come together quickly enough, and she was offered other roles, which she accepted and is looking forward to doing,” Sloane told Reuters.
In addition to dropping out of the Manson project, Lindsay also pulled the plug on plans to co-star with Jack Black in the comedy “Ye Olde Times.” The producer of the movie said the filmmakers and Lindsay decided to go their “separate ways,” and they offered the part to another actress.
