Woody Harrelson Sued by Photographer

Woody Harrelson is being sued by photographer Josh Levine for $2.5 million for an alleged assault two years ago.  The photohrapher claims Woody choked him,  damaged his video camera and had his bodyguard assault him during an encounter in June 2006.

What exactly takes 2 years to file a lawsuit?

The photographer says he is still suffering mental, physical and emotional traumas from the incident.  He worked for tmz at the time and was videotaping Woody in Hollywood for that site when the alleged assault took place.

He also claims Woody ordered his bodyguard to attack him, and the unidentified bodyguard has also been named in the suit.

Woody has not issued a comment.

  • You know dang good and well he's the pap progeny of Harvey Levine at TMZ whose writers can't say anything about a celebrity without degrading them - and whose photogs are constantly tormenting the celebs. Woody should have broken his fingers - it would be worth 2.5 mil to sideline one of these vultures.
