Jamie Lynn Spears has did amazing things and is very gregarious but this baby is out of speech. I think she did this because her sister was showing her examples. Brittany has done very crazy things and now it's sliding on to Jamie. Jamie could have made the good decision but she went down the wrong path. I could expect her to do exotic things but this, this is very crazy and out of line. She made the worst decision. The reason I say this is because she is 16yrs old she doesn't know the responsibilty of being a parent. She can't go party or can't always go to the mall she has to stay home. She isn't even ready to have a boyfriend. If she doesn't know by now that it is illegal to have a boyfriend over the age of 18 she isn't ready for a baby. When she has this baby she is really going to regret it because when her child gets older she is going to be influenced by her and do the same thing. This is non-sense and rediculous.

i dont think it is any ones god damn business.. i am sixteenand if i got prego it wouldnt be publically displayed like this... i think you need to find a new story.. she didnt do it cause of her sister or because of her mother she did it because she wanted to ... the same reason any person does it.. or maybe the condm broke... give the girl a chance.. you people act like its not a everyday thing... it use to b like this in the olden days but kids were 13 or 14... guess what i bet half of the people commenting on how stupid she is or her mother is had a baby at young age to .. leave the girl alone and wish her the best of luck.. i thinkthey should let her finish out the rest of the season because its almost over anyways... would love to see her do a pregnacy thingy on nickaloden.. but the thing is it wont help anybody.. a person makes there own decisions and she made hers.. so leave her alone... any thing u would like to say the email is missbrit109@yahoo.com

Comment #2 is the correct amswer.The press and TV commentators are nothing short of vultures and will stoop to anything in order to make money. They are over 18 they are the ones who should know better than to use people for their stories. It is none of their business and if they had an ounce of integrity they would find something better to do with their time and supposed education.

Ok so she made a mistake, so now she is going to deal with it. I think she will do fine. Some comments on here make it seem as if her life has come to an end . "she can't go out anymore, she can't go to the mall when she feels like it" She is having a baby for heaven sakes not hanging herself. Fine her time will be taking up much more now with the baby but you still have a life. I wish her all the best.

so what? jamie lynn is 16. she may be young and "not responsible" for her actions...you say it was her mother's lack of support, or the way she has seen her sister act, or the examples portrayed....jamie lynn is a person. she DOES make mistakes, like we all do. the one mistake you all are making is NOT LEAVING HER ALONE. its a big enough feat in the world trying to make something of yourself, and making it day to day-let alone the added stress of constantly being watched, followed, and stalked (half the time this is what paparazzi call "being good at what they do". she may have messed up and made a slight mistake, but she is doing the right thing, from this mistake by stepping up and already announcing her plans for care of her unborn child. there is no need for this to be such a public matter, when instead it should be a personal matter...like most teens/young adults (non-celebrity) see it as. the world is an imperfect place, and that makes it what it is. Without situations like this, there wouldn't be anything to grow or learn from. Jamie lynn is doing the right thing by owning up to what just purely might have been an accident. she isnt afraid to let us know, but we need to give her the respect of leaving her be. All this added stress could potentially lead to problems for her and/or her unborn child. LEAVE HER BE!!! congrats Jamie Lynn, and good luck!

I’m glad we got a lot of go getters and positive thinkers out their but lets tell it like it is her sister is one of the most irresponsible people on the planet earth and now she is pregnant at 16 by a man (and I use the term man very loosely) over 18... I’m not saying its a guarantee but since everyone else wants to give their opinion lets just say those parents got some talented (and I use the term talented very loosely) kids that don’t have the common sense most of us have, so will now have to deal with the issue at hand. I’m just glad to see another possible role model teach our youth the way to make the wrong decisions again and because of that all the negative press she gets is deserving. If u/or Jaime doesn’t like it go do what most pregnant teens do get ready for a long rest of your life and get ready for your check at the beginning of the month.

WHO cares if Jamie Lynn Spears is Pregnant! there are many 16 year old girls around the World who are pregnant! Of course this might have ruined her life and stuff but that was her choice. At least shes not getting an Abortion.

I dont think anyone can blame Jamie Spears for getting pregnant. Its not like she planned it. She is a very beautiful young girl and she got pregnant. She will learn from this situation and once she has that child had she hold him/her for the first time, her world will change and I think she will become a better more responsible then her sister. I got pregnant at age 19 and I was scared out of my mind but once I had my little boy. I changed my whole life for the better. I see that happening with Jamie. So people need to stop judging her and let her get through her pregnancie healthy and not depressed.

Things happen. But from what I've read, some people sound like they would rather her have an innocent life ended! I do not believe in abortion whatsoever. I got pregnant before I was married also, and I wasn't ready for it at the time, but you know what, my son is almost 7 now and I wouldn't know what to do without him. It never crossed my mind to have an abortion or give him up for adoption. People just need to mind their own business! If it wasn't for her being famous, no one would be concerned about Jamie Lynn being pregnant at 16...like it's so uncommon these days!! Geez, I know of girls who have gotten pregnant at 12 or 13...so it could be MUCH worse!!

i think jamie has done this because she is in love.... yes it may have been an acciedent and yes she is young...but with all this fame and fortune she has grown up quickily at the end of the day its her decision nobody elses....everyone is entitled to there own opinion...... but i think she is going to be a great mother she has a damn good head on those shoulders and i guarentee she proves to every1 she is ready and she will do us all proud....i believe in her....im 20 and if i was as in love as she is i would be doing the same....there are alot of my friends that had children at a young age and there all married to the fathers and happy so if i was all u lot i would kepp my mouth shut and wait and see.....concentrate on your own lives instead of the celebrities.....WE are what matter!!!! lots of love CM xx

She's 16 And If She Says She Can Be Ready To Be A Mother Than There's Nothing Wrong. People Don't Have To Be Adults To Be Responsible. I Know People Who Had Kids At Young Ages And They Can Take Kare Of Their Child. 16 Isn't A Bad Age. Maybe 14 Is
