David Cook consistently sings off pitch. This is a singing contest, and David A. is the better singer. If it were a popularity contest, then the contestants should just be interviewed.

Hope... really hope that David James Archuleta wins American Idol 2008... he thoroughly deserves it. He's technically a better singer... difficult to find fault with anything... he sings with his heart... you just can't teach that... David Cook on many occasions sings off pitch... "its a singing competion..." right? anyway he'll be a great role model... so PLEASE vote for him... i really wish I could but I can't... I'm from India....

David Cook appeals to a wider audience than just screaming teen-age girls. David Cook has much more experience, whereas David Archuleta is an amatuer.

david cook is ok but most songs are off and like he has to scream when he sings and how could he be genunine he took his brothers place!!! what a loser. I haven't missed one minute of idol this year and have listened to every little second of David Cook's songs and he has NEVER been off key, NEVER, now as far as Archuleta goes, always off key. and he can't even talk without sounding all shaky.

david archuleta is clearly the winner. cook is obnoxious, cocky, dirty looking, and cant sing a bit, and his hair looks horrible, he looks like a homeless person. archuleta on the other hand is talented and hot!!! he has a much brighter future. dont be stupid vote archuleta all the way.

I admit - David A. did a really good job tonight singing. however, America needs to think about who is a true american idol. It should be someone who not only has talent, but charisma ladies and gentlemen. David Cook's got my vote because he is original and REAL!!! He's not some little momma's boy who can't stop giggling. David A. is only a good singer . THATS IT! David cook can SING, HAVE GOOD STAGE PRESENCE ( David A. Totallyyyy lacks), AND KnOWS HOW TO PLAY INSTRUMENTS! That is an artist right there!

David Archuleta deserves to win. David Cook is ok, but average. There is nothing really special about him. Also, Cook frequently sings off key.

David Cook has such versatility. I think Randy especially, has been very easy on David A. He never sings anything but ballads. How can we know what else he is capable of if all he sings are slow songs and yet Randy keeps saying he can sing anything. I think David Cook should win, but I believe David A. will win. It doesn't matter, because it will be David C. who will go the far.

David Cook hands down. Dont get me wrong, David A can really sing, but Cook appeals to a wider audience and seems much more genuine. David A's emotions look fake and much too "cute" for a 17 year old.
