• I was so very sorry to hear of George Carlin's passing away. He was a true American. My heart and love go out to his family, friends, and fans from all over the world. He gave us so much laughter all the time, and especially when we really needed it! He taught us to live, love and laugh. We deeply miss you George, but we will never forget you. Grandma591

• George Carlin was more than a comedian....more than a celebrity.....and more than an icon. George was a man who could make you look at the world and yourself. He entertained...yet informed. He made us laugh and he made us think. He introduced us to the fact that life may not always be what you expect but that doesn't mean you can't question it. George was to comedy what Hendrix was to music. A revolutionary and a common man in one. There was never one before and never one again. Rest in peace my friend for your job is done and your legacy will not be forgotten. Your fan....John W.
