A Hills spin-off starring Whitney Port in the works

The Hills, a spin-off of Laguna Beach, now has its own spin-off in the works. A source says MTV is planning a new show starring Whitney Port. It will focus on Whitney as she goes bicoastal while working for People's Revolution, a fashion PR firm, and befriending a group of fabulous gals in the New York City, including socialite Olivia Palermo. “There will be more blondes in the city than you ever expected!” says the insider. And as always, The Hills is bringing the "drama." Lauren Conrad was recently spotted giving ex-flame Brody Jenner a kiss on the mouth while celebrating Frankie Delgado's birthday at LAX and Noir Bar in Las Vegas on May 30. The next night LC was seen out with former Laguna love Stephen Colletti at Body English and the opening of club Palms Place. A witness said, “They looked very cozy.” Source

Paris Hilton is not pregnant

Paris Hilton is not pregnant. Thank God. Rumors started after the heiress appeared pregnant in a green satin dress Wednesday at Crown Bar in L.A. He reps say the reports are "completely false." Unfortunately Paris does plan to procreate at some point. “I love kids, so one day I’ll have some of my own,” she said in May. She may even be considering having them with current boyfriend Benji Madden. When asked she responded, "Maybe ... we are very in love. "Everyday he does romantic things, and he writes me beautiful letters," she went on. "He just has a heart of gold.” Source

Lindsay Lohan gets a job

Lindsay Lohan has landed an actual acting gig. She has signed on to star in the romantic comedy, Labor Pains, in which she'll play an assistant at a publishing house who pretends to be pregnant in an effort to keep her job. "It is a very different role for me and I look forward to the challenges it will present, and I love working on comedies," Lindsay says of the role. Lindsay was recently dropped from two film projects and last appeared in a guest role on Ugly Betty. Source

Jamie Lynn Spears has a stalker

If you're a paparazzo in Los Angeles, you're just doing your job, but if you're a paparazzo in Mississippi, you're a stalker. That seems to be the case for one Edwin Merrino, who was arrested Tuesday for following Jamie Lynn Spears and fiancee Casey Aldridge around. The Spears family filed a complaint after Merrino failed to leave the couple alone. He was released later that day on a $1,096 bond and denies harassing the pair. Merrino told the Associated Press on Wednesday that he was within his rights as he was at least 200 feet away from them when he got busted shooting the couple. "I just think since I was the only one there, it was just easier for them to single me out," the L.A. based photog said, noting that he wasn't getting much action out of the area. "The one picture I got was kind of by luck. I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant." Merrino will have to appear in court on June 8, according to the McComb, Miss., Enterprise-Journal. Source

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson: The best of (just) friends?

Lindsay Lohan and gal pal Samantha Ronosn are inseparable these days and speculations that the two are romantically involved are rampant. But some say they're just very close friends. Sure they are. "Lindsay just feels safe with her," Lindsay's pal, socialite Cory Kennedy says. "I just feel like they have a very loyal and trustworthy relationship, which is really hard to come across in the world that Lindsay's in. It's a trust thing." The couple have been seen everywhere together lately, from embracing on Diddy's yacht in Cannes, to having family time New York City with Sam's mom, Ann Dexter-Jones and Lindsay's little sis Ali. On Wednesday, Lindsay was at the G-Star party in Beverly Hills in support of Samantha, who was spinning. And she accompanied the DJ to her next gig at the N.E.R.D. concert pre-party. They sat close together after Pharrell Williams's set and left together around midnight. DJ Steve Aoki, a friend to the pair, explains the dynamic. "[Samantha] truly is a friend to her," he explained. "She's a very positive influence .... [Lindsay] sees that and sees a genuine, good friendship." "I think the most important thing in a relationship is, really, trust," agreed Cory Kennedy. "I feel like that's what their relationship thrives on. I love the fact that they're both really happy."
