Sex and the City Pirates Arrested

TheScene reported that Sydney police raided two video stores in Cabramatta, discovering thousands of pirated DVDs and equipment used for disc duplication. Titles including Sex and the City, which stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall. Indiana Jones DVDs were also confiscated, plus 26 DVD burners from one store and 43 from the other. The movies were allegedly being sold for $10 each, with the operation worth $75,000 to the offenders. Rumoured to be the final instalment of the successful series that catapulted the lead actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Catrall to super-stardom, I am sure that many fans of the movie will be clamouring to purchase the DVD so that they will be able to watch the movie again and again... Literally. Ok. Not quite literally, but I guess I shouldn't let my jealousy take over. She’s the face of Myer. Former Miss Universe and all round stunner Jennifer Hawkins will become a real life mannequin, posing in a Myer store window display this week while Australian painter Michael Mucci creates her portrait. Air New Zealand hosted a special runway show on a plane 30,000 ft in the air, showcasing some of New Zealand’s best designers to a glittering array of celebrity guests, including Kiwi supermodel-turned-swimwear designer Rachel Hunter and family, Gail Elliott and Joe Coffey, and Mimi Macpherson, who were treated to two 15-minute in-flight fashion shows. Oyster Vision was there to cover this juicy fashion event in New Zealand.
