Just hours after the California Supreme Court legalized gay marriage in the U.S. state, talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres announced that she’s going to get hitched - to her longtime girlfriend, Portia De Rossi. DeGeneres made the shock announcement during this afternoon’s taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, telling the crowd that she and her Australian actress partner, De Rossi, would finally wed legally. The audience went wild when they heard the news, giving DeGeneres and De Rossi - who was in the crowd watching the taping - a standing ovation. The show will air in the U.S. tomorrow.
