Iraqi Islamic Party: Al Qaeda is Defeated

From Michael Yon, photojournalist on the ground in Iraq, previously seen on Dotspotter... “Al Qaeda in Iraq is defeated,” according to Sheik Omar Jabouri, spokesman for the Iraqi Islamic Party and a member of the widespread and influential Jabouri Tribe. Speaking through an interpreter at a 31 October meeting at the Iraqi Islamic Party headquarters in downtown Baghdad, Sheik Omar said that al Qaeda had been “defeated mentally, and therefore is defeated physically,” referring to how clear it has become that the terrorist group’s tactics have backfired. Operatives who could once disappear back into the crowd after committing an increasingly atrocious attack no longer find safe haven among the Iraqis who live in the southern part of Baghdad. We have been told that the debate about man-made global warming is over. We have been told the science is settled. We have been told that scientists have a consensus, and that consensus is that global warming exists and that it is man-made. Apperently they don’t make consensuses like they used to, as you will see here. New Peer-Reviewed Scientific Studies Chill Global Warming Fears, on the Inhofe EPW Press Blog, Marc Morano cited a July 2007 review of 539 abstracts in peer-reviewed scientific journals from 2004 through 2007 that found that climate science continues to shift toward the views of global warming skeptics. Today, Michael Asher provides more details about this new survey in his blog post, Survey: Less Than Half Of All Published Scientists Endorse Global Warming Theory. Asher writes that the study has been submitted for publication in the journal Energy and Environment. Out of 528 papers written by scientists only 38 papres said that man is definitely responsible for global warming. That is a whopping 7%. I kid you not. Researchers in Norway claim that a grown moose can produce 2,100 kilos of carbon dioxide a year -- equivalent to the CO2 output resulting from a 13,000 kilometer car journey. Now some intelligent person may wonder: if moose, cows, zebra, elephants, etc have been around for at least a few million years, like us humans, then why is it that these creatures only now are melting the ice caps? And, even if they were causing global warming, what could be done about it? Attached is the CA court case filed against the Clintons et al by one of their major campaign contributors. Mr. Peter Paul gave about $2M to Hillary’s NY Senatorial campaign under an agreement wherein Bill would do work for Mr. Paul after Bill finished his gig as US President. This court document (link below) is amazing. It reads like a movie plot or pulp fiction, but it’s real. Corruption, lies, many “A” list celebrity witnesses*, a Clinton campaign cover-up obstructing an FBI investigation on illegal campaign finance, defendants Bill and Hillary ordered to testify in court under oath, and Hillary’s finance chief David Rosen already indicted for election fraud. Mr. Paul happens to be a felon and the Clinton campaign does not want to return the illegal donation. This is better than Desperate Housewives (or your favorite sitcom) and it’s all happening NOW beneath the spotlight of your national media. The complaint was filed in 2001, investigation by FBI is completed, and plaintiff Paul has now been extradited from Columbia.
