Apprentice Hopeful To Join Richard & Judy

Former Apprentice star Raef Bjayou has signed up to be a presenter on Richard and Judy's new TV show. Raef, who missed out on landing a job with Sir Alan Sugar on the programme, will appear alongside the couple for the first time in the autumn. A source told the Sunday Mirror, "Raef is thrilled with the Richard and Judy deal. He's never shied away from the fact that The Apprentice launched his career, but he is keen to carve out an name for himself as a presenter, not just a reality TV star."

Twins For Brangelina

Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins at a hospital in southern France, reports BBC. The 33-year-old had a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Caesarean section on Saturday evening, according to her doctor. Actor Brad Pitt, the twins' father, was by her side in the delivery room. "He was perfectly calm and everything went well," Dr Michel Sussmann told reporters. "The parents and the babies are in excellent health." Dr Sussman said the birth had been moved forward "for medical reasons" but did not give further details.

Apprentice Helpers To Go Dancing?

Apprentice aides Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford have been approached to star in Strictly Come Dancing, according to a report. The pair, who advise Sir Alan Sugar on the hit BBC show, have reportedly been offered £25,000 each to appear in the dance contest's next series. A source told the Mail on Sunday, "Nick and Margaret are the unacknowledged stars of The Apprentice and more and more people have been watching it because of them. "They have really interesting, understated personalities and some of their reactions to what the candidates do in Sir Alan's tasks are wickedly funny." A BBC spokesperson simply said, "Nothing is confirmed yet." Hewer, 64, is said to be on the verge of signing for the show and is hoping to persuade Mountford, a 55-year-old lawyer, to appear with him.

Baby Boy For McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey and his 24-year-old model girlfriend Camila Alves have named their newborn son Levi Alves McConaughey. They welcomed their child into the world on Monday and decided on the name because of its religious significance. Explaining that Levi is another name for the apostle Matthew in the Bible, Matthew told OK!, "Our son was born at 18.22, and this particular time represents my favourite verse in the book of Matthew in the Bible, 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'"

Baby Girl For Kidman & Urban

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are new parents, after welcoming newborn daughter Sunday Rose into the world. Kidman gave birth in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday, weighing 6 pounds, 7 and a half ounces. Speaking exclusively to People.com, the pair revealed, "We feel immensely blessed and grateful to be given this beautiful baby girl. She's an absolute delight." Nicole's father revealed that Sunday is named after famous Australian artist Sidney Nolan's muse Sunday Reed. "She was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century," Nicole's dad told an Australian newspaper. "The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it." The baby's second name Rose is named after by Urban's late grandmother.

McFly drummer, Harry Judd thinks it was him who turned Lindsay Lohan off men! Harry, 22, was rumoured to have had a fling with Lohan after they appeared together in Just My Luck. Speaking to heat magazine, Harry admits he hasn't heard from the Hollywood actress recently and of her lesbian relationship with Samantha Ronson he said: "I must have put her off guys." Adding: "Whatever she gets up to is her own business." Lead singer Tom Fletcher, also 22, admits he's more of a homely type. He lives with long-term girlfriend Giovanna, and says: "I enjoy cooking. If I get the weekend off, I like to cook." He added: "I knitted two scarves for the winter. I sit in front of the TV with a glass of wine and my knitting. I'm such a woman." Blair To Leave Neighbours

Neighbours star Natalie Blair has confirmed that she will film her final scenes for the Aussie soap in September. The 24-year-old actress has decided to leave Ramsay Street after five years of playing Carmella Cammeniti. "I made the decision in December when I was doing a pantomime in the UK, but I cannot believe it is actually happening now," Natalie told the Herald Sun. She added, "...Ideally, I would love to go to America. My heart is set on going to New York because I would love to keep training in musical theatre and developing my skills."

There are no plans for a rumoured big-screen version of Friends, film studio Warner Bros has told the BBC. Since the success of the Sex and the City movie, it was rumoured that Friends would make it to the big screen, but Warner Bros' director of publicity in the UK, Jayne Trotman, said there was "no truth in the story".

Emmerdale Actor Dies Aged 63

Actor Clive Hornby, who played Jack Sugden in ITV1 soap Emmerdale, has died at the age of 63. It was announced in January that Hornby would be taking a break from the soap because of ill health. He originally signed a three month contract with the soap - but he ended up staying in the Dales for 28 years, making him the soap's longest-serving cast member. Emmerdale series producer Anita Turner said she was "deeply saddened" by "a devastating loss". She added, "He was a hugely popular and well-respected member of cast and a terrific actor."

Digital Spy has confirmed that Hollyoaks star James Sutton has quit the Channel 4 soap. The 25-year-old who plays gay student John Paul McQueen will leave in September. His exit will coincide with the brief return of Guy Burnet as John Paul's old flame Craig Dean, who makes a comeback in a bid to rekindle their romance. When John Paul sees Craig again for the first time since Craig left for Dublin, his life is thrown into complete disarray. Friends Heading To The Big Screen?

A big screen adaptation of Friends is being lined up for release within the next 18 months, accroding to Daily Mail. Apparently the spinoff movie has been inspired by the success of the Sex And The City movie. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow are all said to be keen to reprise their roles in the film. "The box office success of Sex And The City has really got their wheels spinning about how a Friends film could be just as big, if done right," said a source. The insider added, "What's held back a Friends movie so far is that people worried that Jennifer had simply become too famous to play Rachel again." "But the truth is that Jennifer is finally willing to do it, and she'd love to work with that whole team of actors and producers again."
