Brad Pitt shuts down private photos

The pictures that were posted earlier of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and their family (not including the twins who were likely sleeping inside) in their yard in France were soon removed from the paparazzi website. There was a lot of questioning as to why someone would take down photos of one of the most photo-stalked celebrity families in the world. The answer may be because according to Reuters, Brad Pitt has threatened legal action against anyone who has taken and sold/published photos of his family on their private land. They also mention that Brad and Angelina have agreed to allow the first exclusive photos of the twins to “a U.S. publication”. They say it’s for $11 million but no one has ever actually confirmed how much they’ve paid for exclusive photos in the past, so that may be a simple speculation. As always, the money will be given to charity. The part of the article that appears to be directly related to the Bauer Griffon Online site states, “one unspecified photo agency that had already sold the pictures had agreed to stop further sales and removed them from its Web site.” Well, HA. And if you’re wondering who bought those pictures? It may very well be In Touch Weekly, which is claiming on their new cover the following headline: “Baby Joy - First Photos. World Exclusive: Angelina, Brad & the kids celebrate the birth of the twins.” Obviously, they’re not the ones who have secured the twins’ photos or they’d be on the cover. It would seem that they purchased the photos taken in the yard with an extremely long lens (from where? In a tree? A helicopter? Who knows?), which don’t even have the twins in the photos at all. I’m glad that Brad is pushing for legal action and I hope they go after the magazine as well. And In Touch wonders why Brad and Angelina prefer to deal with People. Duh. Photo Source

Snooping paparazzi come to blows at Jolie-Pitt home

CNN ran a fairly disturbing story about a trespassing incident that occurred at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s home in France on Friday. Two paparazzi dressed in camouflage and somehow managed to sneak onto the grounds surrounding the Jolie-Pitt chateau. There is nothing officially stated yet as to how long they were on the grounds or how many - if any - pictures had been taken by the time they were found. However, when four of the guards at the chateau discovered the intruders, a physical fight broke out from both sides. Apparently no one was seriously hurt although both the guards and the paparazzi chose to file assault charges. The spokesperson for the police, Capt. Olivia Poupot, implied that it’s easy to imagine that it’s not unusual for people to come to blows if they discover someone illegally on their property, taking pictures. A judge will still need to make a formal ruling as to whether or not further charges will be pressed against anyone. This comes right on the heels of Brad threatening legal action for photos that were taken of the family in their yard the other day. We can only imagine how angry he must be over the trespassing and how scary it must be for the family in general. What is perhaps even more disturbing is this further statement made by Capt. Poupot that they aren’t overly concerned by or interested in this break-in. “There are, […] more important things than paparazzi taking photos of a glamor couple.” I don’t understand this attitude at all. This isn’t “paparazzi taking photos of a glamor couple” at all. You could call it that if they were walking down the street and someone took pictures of them from the end of the block. This is two people who invaded Brad and Angelina’s privacy by trespassing on their private property, disguising themselves to be as inconspicuous as possible, and traipsing around their home. I would hope that everyone could take legal action against such a thing; being a celebrity should not matter. On top of that, there are children involved. Will it be serious enough if one of the Jolie-Pitt kids gets hurt? Will it be serious enough if they break right into the house itself and take pictures inside? I think the police should be taking it more seriously than they are, especially if they want to promote their supposed anti-paparazzi laws that prevent these types of incidents from happening at all. I don’t care how badly someone wants to sneak the first pictures of Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt - breaking into private property to do it is unacceptable and illegal and should be treated as such. The scars are believed to be from her most recent boob op. In December, Jordan, 30 – real name Katie Price – flew out to LA for a reduction. P Diddy is said to have proposed to singer Cassandra Ventura. The rapper, 38, apparently told family and friends he is going to marry the 21-year-old. ‘Diddy said they hadn’t set a date yet, but he wanted his family to hear the news first,’ a source tells Star magazine. P Diddy, real name Sean Combs, met Cassie when he signed her to his record label in 2006. Heath Ledger's bar to open in Brooklyn

Actor put money into the venue before his death A bar Heath Ledger invested in before he died will open as planned. The late actor's dad Kim, the executor of his estate, has released the funds for the bar in Brooklyn, New York. It is thought Five Leaves, which has a nautical theme, will open before the end of the year. Heath died from a prescription drugs overdose in January, at the age of 28. He left behind 2-year-old daughter Matilda from his relationship with ex-fiancée Michelle Williams, 28. Heath's last complete film The Dark Knight is in cinemas now. Photo Source

Paparazzi Invade Jolie-Pitt Chateau

If you can’t count on the people guarding your house, who can Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt trust? Paparazzi dressed up as police made their way on to the grounds of the Jolie-Pitt chateau, said police. French police say two camouflaged photographers were taken in for questioning Friday after an incident between the guards and the photographers Thursday. The police captain said both sides filed legal complaints accusing the other of battery and causing injury. According to police, the injuries were bruises and scratches and “nothing nasty.” Jolie returned to the estate after the July 12 birth of her twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, in Nice. Police said they didn’t know how long the paparazzi had been on the chateau grounds or further details about the “altercation with the guards.” Police added, “One can imagine that if you discover someone in your garden who is taking your photo then you’re not necessarily going to politely show them the way out.” Everyone was taken to the station where police took statements. A judge will rule on whether the legal complaints should be pursued further. Photo Source

Spears was nominated for Best Female Video for her hit single “Piece of Me.” The full list of nominees will be released Friday. The singer has wowed VMA audiences in the past with series of shocking performances, including a liplock with Madonna and a sexy performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U,” complete with a snake wrapped around her shoulders. Last year, the pop star gave a lethargic performance of “Gimme More,” even stumbling at one point, clad in a barely-there metallic bikini and fishnet stockings. Brad Pitt Threatens Lawsuit Over Paparazzi Photos

Brad Pitt will protect his family at all costs—especially when there are multimillion dollar baby pictures at stake. Lawyers for Brad Pitt threatened legal action against anyone who dares to publish photos of the actor and his family at their private French estate, according to The Smoking Gun. Pitt’s lawyer said the photos, which have not surfaced publicly, were obtained “surreptitiously” with “highly powerful telephoto lenses,” according to a letter from the Jolie-Pitt’s lawyer. Attorney Yael Holtkamp added that if the photos were published, it would violate the star’s privacy rights. The photos show “Pitt and his family as they engaged in familial activities on private property,” said Holtkamp in the documents. The Jolie-Pitts reportedly have been negotiating with various publications for the first photos of their newborn twins, Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt. A source told Us magazine that famous couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have taken a shortcut to get their twins Vivienne and Knox. “They conceived through in vitro fertilization,” an insider revealed to the magazine. “They both desperately wanted more babies soon.” The chance of having fraternal twins at the 33-year-old actress’ age is under 1 percent. However, with in vitro fertilization, the chances are 25 percent. “We live in an era of reproductive freedom, so anybody can do anything they want within legal limits,” a doctor told the magazine. The actress chose the procedure (which can cost around $12,000 per ) so “she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant.
