Hot New Track-Jennifer Hudson!!

There was a huge huge buzz around Jennifer Hudson after blowing cinema goers away with her vocals and her acting for the movie ‘Dream Girls’. Much to Beyonce’s annoyance (we’re sure), she collected awards galore. However, we wondered whether her true passion in putting a record out would be an anti climax or a further extension of her star power. We now think the latter. Jennifer’s New track ‘Spotlight’ has been leaked on to Youtube and is off the chain. She’s obviously been away for a while in the studio to bring us some quality music and actual ‘proper’ singing. (Take note Mariah!). Maybe Beyonce does have some competition after all.

Junky Love

They really don’t look sure about this…… Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse had a lot to celebrate: Pete’s release from jail and Amy getting off scot free after being caught smoking crack. However, there are other ways to celebrate than crack kissing. You would be forgiven for thinking that after these two lips lock there might be some sort of explosion. We here at NRT believe that this kiss might actually be the cure for Amy to change her ways. It’s like when two crazy people meet, they cancel each other out. Hopefully, this will have the same effect….ah who are we kidding, It’s just gross fullstop.

Shania Twain and husband separate

It looks like the lyrics from one of Shania’s biggest hits ‘You’re still the one’ has come back to bite her on the butt. ‘ They said, “I bet they’ll never make it” But just look at us holding on We’re still together still going strong ‘ I love this song….anyway, I digress. Unfortunately, Shania and her music producer husband Robert ‘mutt’ Lange have separated after 15 years together. This is ridiculously long in Hollywood and if we were counting in dog years then I’m sure it would be practically an eternity. Shania 42, married Lange 59 in 1993 and they have a 6 year old son together called Eja. Hopefully, the split is amicable.

Angelinas secrets are revealed at Canne

She’s having two…two babies says Jack Cannes became the place to be yesterday as the big hitters came to Town. Angelina Jolie and Jack Black descended on the French Riveria to promote their new flick Kung Fu Panda. Whilst being interviewed Jack Black revealed one of the worst kept secret…. Angelina is pregnant with twins. Now if he had said that one twin is an alien or he was actually the daddy then this would have been news. Jack Black wasn’t the only one to let Angelina’s business slip, fellow co-star Dustin Hoffman also revealed that Angelina was due to give birth on 19th August.

Mariah and Nick out and about

Mariah and her man servant husband Nick Cannon were pictured out recently leaving a restaurant. Every time these two are pictured out together, Nick seems to be holding Mariah up or helping her walk. see……I’m thinking that it could be the age difference thing. Mariah is getting on a bit and Nick is 11 years her junior. He might have to realise that helping her walk, is something he will have to get accustomed to. Or, it could just be that Mariah has a tendency to wear sunglasses at night and can’t see a damn thing.

Has she lost her mind?

This is indeed unbelievable. There has been much talk lately about Mariah wedding Nick Cannon but it seemed that it was all done in secret with nothing concrete to go on. Well this People Magazine cover is as concrete as you can get. Mariah has done a inteview giving all the details of her secret wedding to Nick Cannon whom she really got to know when shooting her video for ‘Bye Bye’ in March. Mariah told the mag “We really do feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.” Maybe that was in response to the question about what the hell she was doing and that she’d only known this guy for all of 5 minutes. Indeed this is why we have to speculate if Mariah has lost her mind. If the rumours that there was no pre-nupare true, that would pretty much be confirmation of some high level insanity. Well may be it is true love after all. Nick is quoted as saying; “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside.”…….Yeah right, how many men have said that to get close to a multi-millionaress with a pretty smile. How many months shall we give this then?

Tom Brady and Gisele Budchen attended the Costume Institute Gala at the MMA yesterday. Although they look like the perfect couple, something ain’t right y’all. If you look closely you’ll see that Tom Brady is in fact the man version of Gisele. The only thing that makes them look a little different is the stubble on Tom’s chin and their attire. They must love themselves.

It has just occured to us that Heidi Montag is becoming a ‘Single White Female’ except that she is not single. Her target is none other than Jessica Simpson. Heidi’s turned up last week in New York for a much undeserved appearance on Letterman. Her look was definitely reminiscent of Jessica Simpson in 2004/2005 during her barbie like years. It seems that Heidi has got the other things covered to take over Jessica’s life. 1. Reality Show- Heidi and her pratt boyfriend are in talks to breakaway from ‘the Hills’ and head their own show focusing on their relationship -just like ‘Newlyweds’. 2. Singing career- Despite lacking vocal ability, Heidi is hoping to forge a pop career like Jess only Heidi obviously hasn’t given a care or thought for how her harmful vocals have and will continue to be responsible for many bleeding ears. 3. Loving Boyfriend- Heidi and Pratt are even ‘in talks’ to get engaged which could make a ‘Newlyweds’ type show even more likely. 4. Papa Joe- Spencer Pratt is providing Heidi with a two for one deal, since he is also her manager and so takes the Nick Lachey and Papa Joe Role all in one. 5. Clothing line.-Jessica Simpson has her own Shoe and Clothes line and now Heidi has recently launched a line she is promoting for Anchor blue. 5. Style-Heidi is already stepping out with looks that Jessica owned years ago. Jessica’s look for the Kentucky Derby 2004 was a hit and Heidi and Spencer repeat the look last week at this year’s derby. Hell, she even wearing shoes identical to those in Jessica’s shoe line. Someone needs to get a message to Jessica Simpson quick. LOCK YOUR DOORS AT NIGHT.

Ashlee Simpson breezed into London last week to continue promoting her ‘Bittersweet’ album despite poor sales statesides. Still Ashlee took the number 4 position in the states but her two previous albums scored the top spot with sales over 200,000. With her current album selling just over 48,000 in its first week, this promotional tour must indeed be Bitter. We guess the engagement and is she isn’t she pregnant publicity didn’t help much after all. Here she is singing her first single ‘Outta my head’ on the Paul O’ Grady Show.

Is Jlo a Hypocrite?

So it was revealed last week that Jennifer Lopez is planning a television reality show about her life as a singer, actress and, more recently, mother. Apparently she is so passionate about the project that she is prepared to finance and produce it herself for The Learning Channel. We suspect that she might be dipping into that money from selling out her twins to people magazine for $6mil in exchange for some cute pictures of them. But this new project of JLo’s does seem to be a bit out of character. This is the same woman that refused to confirm her pregnancy until soon before the twins were actually born. Now she wants to let the whole world in on her life. Maybe it is just desperation. After all Jennifer’s last films and album all bombed and there is nothing that can revive a star’ appeal than a reality show.

Diddy finally made a Star

After several years of acting the fool like a male diva, finally gets the confirmation he was hoping for by being granted a the 2,362nd star on the Hollywood Walk of fame. ..and ain’t he loving it. As can be expected Diddy’s ceremony turned out to be quite the show. Jamie Foxx introduced Diddy to the crowd who were already chanting his name amongst family and friends. He humbly thanked his family and dedicated the star to his late Grandmother stating in true American style that the star was proof that “all your dreams can come true” and that he had come from “Harlem to Hollywood”. You can’t really trust Diddy to stay humble too long and he went on to threaten vow that he would become the black Bruce Willis. Hmm, we’re not sure about that but in the meantime, his beautiful twins look like they could be stars of the future.

Jessica Simpson breaks the rules

Jessica Simpson is ‘Glamour’ Magazine’s June Cover girl and this edition she gives an interview where she talks about, her upcoming Country album, nasty gossips, the Jessica (Dallas Cowboys) Jinx, as well as her ex boyfriends and current love Tony Romo. Jessica is clearly in love as she declares ‘I love this guy’ and explains that Tony re-introduced her to who she is. However, Jessica has clearly broken some well established relationship rules. Of their first Kiss, Jessica says “The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, This is my girl and I want to kiss her–our first kiss in front of everybody–was awesome. “ She then goes on “What he’s done for me is irreplaceable. I wrote a song for him called ‘Back in My Old Boots’.” That is two strikes. Why? A woman must never allow a man to kiss her within 10 minutes of a first date and must never tell him that he’s irreplaceable. Thats only going to cause problems down the line.
