E Online has confirmed that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are indeed married. Family member Linda Cannon confirmed the nuptials stating: "Yes, we know, He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him." What in the Pam Anderson hell is going on here? They have only been fake dating for like a week. Is this gonna be like the Eddie Murphy, Tracey Edmonds wedding? Are they going to come out next week saying- oh, we decided we are better off as acquaintances. Amy Winehouse Update

Amy was released from jail yesterday. She was arrested Friday on a suspicion of an assault charge. She was held over night because the doctor decided she was not fit for questioning. Amy Winehouse arrested

Amy was arrested in London today for her alleged involvement in a suspicion that took place earlier this week. According to the British tabloid The Sun Amy attacked two men, and kissed another before busting up the bar, and getting a fix on the sidewalk(Damn, all in one night?). I don't know which is worse being attacked by a crackhead or being kissed by one (Eww, yuck)...and I'm just curious to know how the hell she managed to attack two men, she weighs like 90lbs soaking wet. Click here for pictures from the night in question. Coincidentally while Amy was being questioned at the police station, her husband Blake, also known as "MY BLAKE" was released from jail today. Blake had been locked up on an assault charge several months earlier. But what's scandalous, is that after being released, Blake was in court making googley eyes,blowing kisses,and mouthing I love you, to a woman that was not his wife. How dare he, after Amy stood by him, or in her case stumbled by him. That chick better watch her back, Amy is bound to go ape shit over this. Estelle is the new Lauryn Hill...?

UK pop star Estelle graces the cover of the April edition in BLEU magazine. The UK sensation is the first artist to ever receive a double cover spread in the magazine's history. In the article she talks about being compared to Lauryn Hill and also goes on to discuss how the UK does not know how to promote Black Artists. Now I will be the first to admit that we are in desperate need of a new Lauryn, I'm just not sure that Estelle is it. Estelle should also clarify if they mean Old Lauryn or New Crazy Lauryn....I love "American Boy" but we need at least one solid CD before we start calling people Lauryn (the old one) . Anyway here is what she said in the interview: "I think they compare me to her (Lauryn Hill) because I'm dark-skinned and I sing and rap. Just when I think that VH1 can't sink any lower with shows like Flavor of Love, and Rock of Love the network proves me wrong. I love Money: Challenge is a new VH1 spin off, which will feature cast members from Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and I love New York competing for a cash prize of 100,000. I am absolutely beside myself with horror and happiness. Although, I can barely stomach watching these shows, I can just feel in my bones that I Love Money is gonna be an orgy of entertainment. I was sitting at my desk eating a lean cuisine and minding my own business when I happened upon these images that will be forever burn the crevices of my mind. "Ewwww" I yelled, spitting out my chicken alfredo. I need to know what possessed Steve Harvey to take his old ass into any one's tanning both...scratch that..I need to know what possessed Steve Harvey to stand underneath anyone's orange spray- on liquid tan and take a flick with his cowboy titty showing friend. I mean really.....? And I wont even mention his digitaly enhanced abs. I am all for weight loss but this is rather gross. What grown ass man, wears cowboy boots and biker shorts and tries to show of his little man lump..? .....and action The plot thickens in the sexual harassment lawsuit for talk radio mogul Wendy Williams and her super freak husband Kevin Hunter. Ok so maybe Wendy is NOT named in the lawsuit but would the story really be interesting if we didn't act like it was?? Of course not. Anyway you may remember Karis Michelle's story a few weeks ago (see archives) where she detailed that Star Booker for the show, Nicole Spence was fed up with Big Kev's sexual advances and was moved to file a suit after she feared for her safety. Apparently Kev graduated from comments like "hey shawty you got a fat ass" to umm more like; "I can't stop thinking about you and I been dreaming about you at night etc".... yeah that is enough to skeeve anyone out...(have you seen his big ole ugly face?....I love Wendy but, I will be the first to admit that Kevin and Wendy are a match made in Transvestite heaven, pummeled with an ugly stick, Sci-Fi hell...).
