hey hey! after last week's whirlwind visit to the states - brad pitt and angelina jolie are back in berlin, germany (where brad is filming the new quentin tarantino WWII flick inglorious bastards) and at their rented lake wannsee villa (palais schlosspark) the couple is adding some extra privacy measures (it looks like they're extending the fences to be higher and covering up the spaces between the bars) to keep the invasive paparazzi lenses out of their grill but i'm sure once brad is done filming the brangelina brood will be packing once again to take up residence someplace else - especially since it looks so darn drab in germany - i'm sure it's really nice & cozy there but it does look a bit on the depressing side (no wonder one magazine was claiming angelina was dealing with depression!) popbytes over & out for now...xoxo PHOTOS | WENN

good morning & happy friday! i'm in love with the picture below (i should have it blown up and framed) taken when tyra banks visited janet jackson last month in las vegas right before ms. jackson's concert at mandalay bay on sept 19th - ms. banks is totally teaching ms. jackson about how to smile and look fierce with just her eyes...although janet couldn't use her new found skills to ward of whatever recently ailed her (let's blame her boyfriend jermaine dupri for puking on her lap - that would make anyone sick!) she canceled a bunch of shows on her rock withchu tour but i believe tomorrow she'll be back on stage in connecticut - woo hoo! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo PHOTO | WENN

good evening! below i've got a pregnant & glowing melanie chisholm performing earlier tonight at the hard rock cafe over in manchester, england - to help aid the caron keating foundation (which helps cancer charities) i've always loved mel c. - ever since her days as sporty spice - i was thrilled to get the chance to see the spice girls reunite in concert not once but twice last year - both shows were such a blast - i danced my ass off! plus mel has done some incredible solo work over the years (her debut album from 2000 northern star is a must have if you don't own it already) and thankfully she's already working on her 5th studio album - she's one busy expectant mum! i'm so happy for mel and her partner of six years thomas starr - i wish the couple all the luck in the world (she's due early next year) plus 'sporty' can totally hit up any of her 'spice sisters' for mommy advice (or hand me downs) they all have kids too! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo PHOTOS | WENN

hey hey! oh happy day - today beyoncé released not just one but two brand new tracks (have a listen below for yourself and then decide which you like better) marking the official promotional kick-off for her upcoming third solo album i am... dropping on november 18th - the track if i were a boy is a really nice strong ballad that's bound to be a hit - the other one single ladies (put a ring on it) is groovy & upbeat but reminds me of get me bodied - a track off her last album b'day (and of course girlfriend had to mention deréon jeans...ugh) i don't think she should have dropped two songs at the same time but we all know ms. knowles is quite an ambitious lady - hopefully this album will fare better than her last release which wasn't all that bad (oh ring the alarm - i loved you so) but certainly wasn't a huge hit like her first solo effort from 2003 dangerously in love! popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo if i were a boysingle ladies (put a ring on it)

project runway's season finale is underway!

good evening! tonight marks the kick-off of the two part season finale of project runway (season #5) this season has been decent enough (i liked last season better w/ winner christian siriano) i've been rooting for leanne marshall because i love her demeanor & style - she totally reminds me of my pal cathy in a good way! (check out cathy's awesome artsy screensavers) i also really like jerell scott - he's probably the bravest designer (yet sometimes messy...) out of the four remaining contestants - although i like korto momolu as a person i'm not so hot for her fashions - i like kenley collins whole retro vibe way more but her attitude is terrible - i really hope she doesn't get to show at bryant park (the winner will be announced next week) kenley must be the odd man out of the bunch for sure - everyone grew quite sick and tired of her highly annoying personality (even the judges and tim gunn) yet girlfriend did make some killer dresses! all four of 'em stopped by live with regis & kelly this morning where kenley was of course irritating (pictures of 'em leaving the studio are below) as for next season (which will probably be delayed until next summer) i seriously hope bravo (owned by NBC) is able to block the show from being moved over to lifetime (unfortunately i think it'll move in the end) i think that move will definitely mark the moment the show jumps the shark but of course i'll still be tuning in! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo PHOTOS | WENN

good morning! for the second week in a row angelina jolie is being featured on the cover of the latest issue of STAR magazine - last week with the claim she needed therapy to deal with postpartum depression - now after making a stunning appearance on the red carpet this past weekend in NYC (her first since giving birth to twins knox leon & vivienne marcheline) the magazine is saying she had a secret tummy tuck (heck...she did have three kids in the past two years...a little nip/tuck makeover can come in handy - especially in hollywood) whatever she might have done - angelina looked totally incredible and is still obviously so in love with her sexy partner in crime brad pitt (gosh - i just adore them as a couple) plus she managed to show off her new tattoos (the latitude & longitude coordinates of where she gave birth in france - she now has six locations on her left arm for each of the kids) right after spending a few days in new york - the brangelina brood headed down to new orleans - they sure do get around! "Angelina looked drop-dead gorgeous in a tight black strapless Versace dress," says an awestruck onlooker who saw the actress attending the film's premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre with Brad on Oct. 4. "My first reaction was, 'Holy cow, how did she get so thin after having twins?'" Sources tell Star that the 33-year-old actress fretted over the size of her stomach while she was pregnant with Knox and Vivienne. "She doesn't like to talk about it or admit it, but Angie told some friends that she had a 'mommy tuck,' " says a family insider. "She likes the way that sounds better than tummy tuck." good evening! earlier today kanye west debuted his brand new video when he stopped by ellen degeneres' daytime talk show (i was a bit surprised with his choice for the premiere) the track love lockdown (watch the video below and buy it on itunes) is the first single off his upcoming new album 808's & heartbreak which is schedule for release on december 16th - when i first heard this song i wasn't instantly sold on it but after a few listens i think it's actually an incredible track - i can't wait to hear the rest of the album! i've seen a bunch of concerts this year and mr. west's glow in the dark tour seriously stands out as one of the best shows i saw in '08 - although he's got a bit of an attitude sometimes - he really is one of the most talented & unique artists making music today! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo
