Tengo que confesar - bueno ya lo hice en la primera parte - que me esperaba más de esta sesión de fotos. Más aún cuando me enteré de que una gran parte de la entrevista con Rihanna, la dedicarán a "romper las reglas". Interesante y prometedor, pensaba. Aunque hay cositas sueltas, para mi no supieron aprovechar "el personaje" y desde luego no demostraron que "las reglas están para romperlas". Ya me dirás si estás de acuerdo o no. Y casi en cada ocasión elige por lo menos un modelito de Betsey Johnson (hace solamente un par de días cuando he vuelto a hablar sobre su amor hacia las creaciones de la diseñadora). El primer vestido es el que lució durante su actuación en el Essence Music Festival, el segundo lo eligió para otra actuación suya - ayer en el "THISDAY Music and Fashion Festival" en Abuja, Nigeria. Esto sí que se llama brand addiction. Rihanna just doesn't stop. Press conferences, promotions, concerts, festivals. And she choses an outfit by Betsey Johnsson for almost every ocassion (I was talking again about her love for Betsy Johnson designs just a couple of days ago). Cover Girl: Jessica Biel for Harper's Bazaar US

Jessica Biel aparecerá en la portada de Harper's Bazaar EEUU el próximo mes de Agosto. Una portada muy normalita, nada especial, con un editorial denominado "Bailando con diseñadores" que, además de presentar los vestidos de varios diseñadores, todos de las colecciones de Otoño 2008, no me transmite absolutamente nada. Me pareció buena idea eso de no hacer lo de siempre sino prepararnos un editorial donde la estrella y el diseñador aparecen juntos. Lo que no me gusta es la ejecución. Las poses y el resultado final son poco naturales y da igual si están al lado de Jessica o ella está en el primer plano, resaltan mucho más los diseñadores que la misma protagonista del editorial (¿o solamente me lo parece a mí?). ¿Ha sido este el objetivo? ¿Entonces el editorial se debería llamar "Bailando con Jessica Biel, no? ¿Qué te parece a tí? Jessica Biel is August Harper's Bazaar US cover girl. The cover is nothing special. The editorial is called "Dancing With Designers" and on top of featuring Jessica Biel wearing several famous designer dresses, all of them from Fall 2008 collections, the pictures don't transmit anything to me. I found it very good idea not to do always the same and rather go for an editorial where the star and the designers appear together. What I don't like is the execution. Both the poses and the final result are not natural and overall the designers stand out much more than the protagonist of the editorial, no matter whether they are next to her of pose behind her (or am I the only one feeling this?). Was this the objective? Because otherwise the editorial name should be "Dancing with Jessica Biel", shouldn't it? What do you think? Jessica Biel bailando con Diane von Furstenberg, ... Estaba navegando por la página de Fashionmission cuando di con su nombre. Hace tres días. Desde entonces, a ratos, continué navegando y buscando más piezas del puzzle llamado Kristian Aadnevik. Y que actualmente trabaja bajo las alas protectoras de Donatella Versace (y por lo tanto su próxima colección vamos a poder verla durante la Semana de Moda en Milán). Que siempre hay sorpresas. Que siempre encuentras algo nuevo. Que cada día puedes descubrir un genio prometedor o una marca desconocida. Que a diario puedes dar con una página web interesantísima o un blog fabuloso. Así que, aunque no esté terminado del todo, aunque faltan piezas (si tienes alguna y quieres compartir, ¡adelante! y muchas gracias), hoy dedicaré este puzzle a todos vosotros que formáis parte del Club de los Amantes de la Moda. ¡Que tengáis un día maravilloso!
