  • I think she is right, where we take our children to raise them in God's ways indicates how we really feel.

  • I happen to be a republican and usually agree with the positions Elizabeth has taken on issues on the View, however, this is a little reaching. Obama cannot control what one preacher in his church has said, or how he feels. Considering the history Obama has in the church, I believe he was disturbed by Rev. Wright's position and some statements made but one person's actions and words should not make him give up his home church where there are other pastors, spiritual leaders, because obviously the Rev. Wright is not the only one who gets up and addresses the church and because he is retired he probably only gets a few minutes before certain functions, if that. In this case I disagree with Elizabeth, because if all Christians left their church every time an individual,in a position, in the church said something we disagreed with, there would be a lot of church hopping and no place to fellowship.

  • You don't worship at the altar of anti-americanism, anti-White, anti-jew for 20 years and come away with a warm, cuddly feeling for America, Whites and Jews.

  • WE will never be a country that truly stands with pride under the meaning ONE NATION UNDER GOD
We are to selfish for that.

  • She never supported Obama. This is just a GREAT cherry for the picking!. People who are inspired by this candidate have not changed their minds. The conservatives have just found their chink in the armor and will be relentless playing to the public's fear as usual. What else do they have?

  • Watching and listening to Obama's responses to being exposed for his connection to Rev. Wright speaks to his "true" character. it's been reported by his own campaign that he has been working on all the excuses he would have "sell" to the voters when this all came to light. He wants everyone to "buy" that Rev Wright has pent up anger about his personal experiences, however, we can't really "buy" that. Rev Wright is perpetuating his beliefs on a mostly much younger congregation, which includes Obabma and more importantly his children. Why would a good father want his own children indoctrinated with thoughts that you claim to disagree with????? Hmmmm??? Because he DOESN'T disagree. I would have walked my child out of the church the FIRST time I heard that kind of language... Friend or no friend. My child is my first responsibility. Won't his children think that their father is a hypocrite? Claiming to disagree with Rev Wright's teachings, yet continuing to support his ministry financially and in attendance?
